FAQS - OMBRE/MICROBLADING
Whats the difference between the two methods?
Microblading - done using a hand held pen like tool with very fine needles. Super fine strokes are put into the skin to mimic real hair. This will not give a make up look but will add structure and shape to brows suffering from hair loss. Best suited to normal and dry skin types.
Ombre Powder – Done using a machine operated needle, which penetrates up and down into skin allowing more saturation of colour. We can still achieve very natural results with this method but we can also achieve a bolder make up look if desired. The front of the brow is kept softer with more emphasis of colour on the lower and mid to tail of brow. This will give you the ombre effect. Suitable for most skin types especially oily and combination.
Do I need a consultation with you?
Yes, I encourage a 15 minute consultation before we go ahead and book your date in. This will be to check suitability and discuss expectations. I will then be able to advise the most suitable method for you.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes, there will be a £50 deposit required when booking.

Will it hurt?
There will be minimal pain during the treatment due to the correct usage of products and equipment. You many feel discomfort at times, but no worse then having your brows tweezed or threaded. Generally people feel surprised how comfortable they are when having the treatment.

How long will it last?
The pigment is designed to fade gradually over the years but to keep the colour looking fresh, a maintence top up is required every 12- 18 months.

How can I benefit?
We can fill in sparse and gappy brows to give a very soft, natural look, giving back what nature intended. Or we can do a bolder more glamorous brow if you like the makeup look, saving your precious time every morning. This will be discussed during your consultation, but working together we will find the correct look for you.

I am pregnant/breast feeding can i still have this done?
No, unfortunately we cant treat you until you have had your baby and completely stopped breast feeding.

FAQS - HD BROWS
What is HD Brows?
This is a bespoke eyebrow treatment that is totally tailored to you. We use a unique formula to design the perfect brow using custom blended colour, hair removal techniques and expert make up application. We work together to create the perfect look whether that be tame bushy brows or re grow over plucked brows.

Am I suitable?
As long as your brows are still actively growing then YES! But If you have left your brows without tweezing them for 4-6 months and there is no re growth then you will probably not benefit from this treatment.
Do I need to grow my brows out before having this?
Yes you will! I advise a month’s growth to get the maximum results. You will not get good results from HD Brows if you continue to pluck your brows before coming for your treatment or if you tweeze in between sessions. I recommend throwing away the tweezers to avoid temptation!

How long will it take to get results?
HD Brows isn’t always a quick fix, depending on what your desired result is and how much growth we have initially to work with, I usually expect the perfect brow to take around 4-6 sessions. This would be based on having one a month. Please bear this mind if wanting to get your brows perfect for a special occasion such as a wedding or birthday.

I am pregnant/breast feeding, can i have this done?
We can do all the steps expect tinting during this period.

Yes. Every new client must have a patch test to check for allergies to the tint.

FAQ’s - LASHES
What are Russian volume lashes?
Ultra soft and lightweight lashes are made into handmade fans consisting of anything from 2 to 6 lashes in one fan. These are then expertly applied onto each one of your natural lashes. The more lashes in a fan, the higher the density . This is known as the D. So 2D lashes will give you vey soft natural lashes and 6D will give more volume and a blacker appearance. As the fans are handmade we can customise the result depending on the health of your natural lash and your desired look.

What are Classic lashes?
These are lashes applied in a 1:1 ratio. So we are not increasing the density, we are focusing on lengthening and thickening each natural lash. The end result will give a mascara effect, but less dramatic then Russian.

How long do they last?
A new set of lashes will typically last 3-4 weeks but this will depend on lifestyle and following correct aftercare. Lashes will start to shed naturally within this time so they will come away gradually. To keep lashes looking full and fresh, infills are recommended every 2 weeks. This is where we will remove grown out lashes safely and apply new ones in the gaps.

Can I get them wet?
Yes, we recommend washing daily with a lash cleanser so getting lashes wet is absolutely fine.

Will they damage my natural lashes?
NO! Safe application and removal of lashes is key. Choose your lash technician wisely as badly applied lashes can cause long term damage. But with correct application and removal there will be ZERO damage.
